TOJIRO Knives, hailing from Tsubame-Sanjo in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, are crafted by TOJIRO Co., Ltd. which used to be called Fujitora Industry, a company founded in 1953 that started to make machine parts and blade for farm equipment. When the business gets on the track in 1955, they also started manufacturing knives. At a time when stainless steel was considered far inferior to carbon steel, TOJIRO thought differently.
