Collection: Middleton Made Knives
Quintin Middleton is a renowned bladesmith from Saint Stephen, South Carolina, where he has been crafting exceptional knives since founding Middleton Made Knives in 2010.
His journey began as a teenager apprenticing under legendary master bladesmith Jason Knight, forging hunting knives and fantasy swords before divine intervention inspired him to focus on culinary blades. Working from a modest workshop, he hand-forges high-carbon and Damascus steel knives, blending Japanese and European influences to create tools prized by top chefs like Sean Brock and Guy Fieri. Middleton’s signature designs, like the ergonomic “Coke bottle” handle and the innovative Ona folding chef’s knife, reflect his focus on comfort and functionality. A certified craftsman, he uses traditional techniques to produce each blade, often incorporating unique materials like wood from historic Middleton Place oaks tied to his ancestral roots. His mission extends beyond craftsmanship, aiming to elevate American-made cutlery and bring economic growth to his small rural community.
