These honing steels feature a relatively soft stainless steel rod used to realign your western knife's edge and prolong cutting performance between sharpenings. Comes in two sizes, small (7.5" rod, 12.5" total length) and large (12" rod, 17" total length).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TOOL IS NOT INTENDED FOR SHARPENING YOUR BLADE, NOR DO WE ADVISE USING THIS TOOL ON HIGH CARBON JAPANESE KNIVES!
