With years of experience working with a wide range of resins, Akebono Industry selected PPS resin as the ideal material for cutlery. It has the strength of metal, yet feels gentle in your hand and never feels cold.
Lightweight and easy to handle, with less effort not only during meals but also when carrying and washing. It is heat-resistant and dishwasher safe.
The leaf-shaped cross section fits gently along your fingers, providing a stable grip despite the slim design. Taking advantage of the unique properties of PPS resin, they achieve an exceptionally light and refined thinness.
To achieve this level of design, we manufacture our molds in-house and carefully finish each piece by hand. From crafting the mold to melting and pouring the material. With deep respect for craftsmanship, we create resin with the feel of cast metal. We work closely with our materials, bringing each form to life. From our hands, the next “їMONO” (our idea of something good) is born.
