Beautiful knife

This knife is everything I hoped it would be. Absolutely gorgeous, thick at the heel for a Japanese blade. Really nice weight and feel in the hand. First knife I have purchased that came sharpened and I am impressed with the edge. I have lots of experience using and sharpening high carbon steel and I'm very excited to finally have shirogami #1 in my arsenal. Im a cook at a sushi restaurant and at home but this knife is too pretty to use or show anyone yet, so for now I just stare at it in my room, but eventually I can tell it will be my main work horse. Thanks a lot

So glad you love it, thanks Forrest!
