Thanks for the review Tom, the Reppu line from Tojiro is the thinnest and lightest new kitchen knife to hit the market in awhie. They are like a wa handle Takamura

Several years ago u walked by District Cutlery and admired the shop. This most recent visit to Union Market, i decided to stop in and buy a knife. I wasnt 100% sure that i would purchase one but after looking over the selection and talking to one of the employees, i decided to purchase my first japense knife. I could not be happier. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt comfortable the whole time and they didn't pressure me. U am very hapoy with my ourchase and will be back soon!
