This knife is on consignment from a professional chef whom we know takes utmost care of his knives. Resharpened once and still extremely thin. Significant horizontal scratches should be visible in the pictures of the maker's mark side of the knife. There are a few light scratches on the other side as well.

Named after the Kotetsu, Japan's first iron-clad ship, Shibata-san's knives look and feel as awesome as they function.
