Middleton Made Knives

District Cutlery is honored to finally carry Quinton Middleton's Echo line of knives. Made with our favorite AEB-L Swedish steel, the blades take a fine edge and offer better edge retention than knives made with German steel. Quinton Middleton began making knives professionally in 2010 in the small rural South Carolina town of Saint Stephen, just 49 miles north of historic Charleston. We became aware of him when Chef BJ Lieberman passed one of Quinton's custom knives over the wall for sharpening. BJ left Union Market to open Rose's Luxury with Aaron Silverman. I later met Quinton at Blade Show in Atlanta and we connected over our background in Taekwondo. Quinton specializes in semi-custom damascus knives and makes custom blades for some of the world's best chefs. The Echo line offers a wider blade for more finger clearance.
