Collection: Wa Handle Knives

Knives with Japanese-style handles are commonly referred to as wa-handled knives. This handle is usually affixed to the tang of the blade using heat or adhesive (glue, epoxy, etc.). Use of such handles usually results in lower overall weight of a knife, compared to knives with western-style riveted scales. The balance on a wa handle knife is usually toward the front of the knife.
